"Let us always meet each other with a smile, for a smile is the beginning of love" - Mother Teresa
I was born and raised in Roanoke, VA, and I attended Roanoke College and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry with a French minor. After graduating from Roanoke College and discerning a vocation to ministry (*check out Medicine for the Soul for the full story*), I applied to Notre Dame's Echo program and was placed in the Diocese of Joliet to serve at St. Margaret Mary Parish in Naperville, where I helped with youth ministry, young adult ministry, and social media/marketing. I now work as the Director of Campus Ministry at the St. John Paul II Newman Center at the University of Illinois - Chicago, and I’m also the owner of a freelance photography business called Never A Dull Moment Photography.
I often try to take a step back and look at my daily experiences to see where God is present in them. I hope my blog inspires you to also take step back from the chaos of life and see where God might be working in you, through you, and around you!
